Wow i've been SLACKING!

Yes Yes I know i have been REALLY bad at posting these Last 6 or so months... So like i always so i will do better... in 2014.
This year we have had some HUGE changes.
In March we Moved for the beloved University of Utah Village back to Price for an internship.
The next big event was Mike taking the big PT Exam in April and Graduating in May.
In April we also interviewed for 2 Jobs. On in Twin Falls Idaho (Gooding, Idaho) and 1 in Price.
After some crazy, In June Mike Started his Job at the same clinic that he Interned for this time around. *we couldn't have been more excited.*
My Sister Kacylia also left on her mission to Japan in June.
June was a big month for us i guess because we also moved into our cute little Town house/ Apartment. (Mike also turned 28 In June.)
In July we bought a new Car! my Lovely Blue 2005 Isuzu Ascender.  Heated Seats, Sun roof, Seat memory (we can set the seat for me & Mike and with one push of a button it moves. No more moving and trying to guess how far to move it.) & 3 ROWS OF SEATING!
August I turned 24 and Started Coaching volleyball. So from the Middle to August to the first weekend in November we did ALOT of Volleyball Stuff. I coached the Freshmen Team and LOVED it.
In November Brynn turned 1!  I can't believe how fast this year went. She is so much fun and has the cutest, most funny little personality ever!
We Went to Idaho For Thanksgiving Then the next week went to California to JT's baptism and to go to Disneyland.
This last weekend the Kids and I went to the Ivory Family Christmas Party to see Santa. Mike was helping a family move so he wasn't able to make it. But Titus knew exactly what to tell Santa, for him and Brynn.
Now we are getting ready for Christmas. Sadly i have been sick since we got back from Cali and have been trying to be a fun mom but end up being a mean mom.

So on that note i'm going to get ready for the day and get my kids out of the house. Tonight we are going to our Annual Voice Male Concert at Thanksgiving Point.

I'll Post Pictures when i have a little more time. The Kids are needing my attention.

WOW! where does the time go..

Well since Titus' birthday we have packed up and moved to Price. Mike had his last internship here and landed a job at the same Clinic. We are so excited for this new adventure. Mike Also Graduated from the University of Utah at the beginning of this month. We {i} was really sad to see this chapter in our lives end. While attending the University of Utah we had both our sweet children, made awesome friends and learned so much about ourselves and each other. I will admit as i was driving down the rode with my car loaded to the max with clothes and kids i cried. Lucky for me the kids slept all the way to Price and i had time to think and reflect on the last 3 years.

Anyways enough with the Sob story. On to the whole reason why you read our blog...
our super cute kids...
Titus: Man does he say the darnedest things. I have started writing them down so i can remember all his silly sayings. He loves to be outside and play with Grandpa Terry & Kenna's new dog Avalanche or as Titus calls her Aval.
Titus has finally found his appetite and eats almost everything you give him. His Favorite thing to say when he is eating is "This is the best thing i never had before."
This kid is the most understandable little man i have ever met, I do have to translate sometimes but most the time others can understand him.
He NEVER forgets anything. Mike told Titus the story of the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf and he will tell you all about it if you ask him. He also remembers everything we do during the day. My Favorite is when we go to the store i will read him my list and he will repeat it back to me, in the same tone i just read it to him.

Brynn: Miss Brynn is growing like a weed, at her 4 month check up she weighed 15 lbs. and was 23 inches long. She is just like her brother in so many ways it is kind of scary.
She is ON THE MOVE! She has been rolling over since we moved her in March and has just started to really get around with her crazy crawl. She will go from sitting to crawling and crawling to sitting. Brynner has her bottom 2 teeth now... and likes to scream to get your attention.
This little lady is very social. Every time we are at the store or at church she smiles at everyone and tries to get their attention in anyway she can.
Miss Brynn has started on solids now so far she doesnt like rice cereal (neither did Titus) but she likes peas, green beans and carrots. Next in line for the taste test is squash...

As for me and mike we are still looking for a place of our own. I have been trying to lose the last of my baby fat... i just need to get off my lazy booty and do it. We have put in the Terrry's garden and really excited to reap the benifits from the garden.

Here are some fun pictures from the past few months enjoy.

Titus Turns 2

Titus Boy/Tito Man on his 2nd birthday
It's kind of crazy how fast they grow up so fast. Titus is the sweetest little guy and i'm not saying that because i'm his mom. I'm constantly amazed at how much he learns and how fast he picks it up. a few quick things about Titus...

  •  Titus is almost fully potty trained. We started potty training him at the beginning of the month. He has caught on pretty quick. Titus still has a few accidents and wears a diaper when he sleeps but he goes to the bathroom by himself or tells us he needs to go.
  • Titus Likes to watch Full House and the Brady Bunch. He has also started to really enjoy Dora the Explorer and Bubble Guppies. He doesn't like Spongebob (thank goodness) he says "no watch this." Shakes his finger and head when it comes on.
  • He likes the Piano Guys. He loves the piano and any kind of music (unless mom and dad are singing like weird-o's). He has a pretty good beat when it comes to dancing.
  • Titus has started to eat more (YAY!) he likes chips and cottage cheese. His favorite meat is Chicken and bacon, he is his mothers child for sure. He loves juice and pop, i'm working on getting him to drink more water.
  • He likes to do Zumba with mom and does it better then me too.
  • His favorite toys are: Bullseye, Woody, cars and any kind of ball.
  • Titus loves his baby Sister. Every morning he comes into our bedroom he says "I see my sister Brynn."  He always wants to hold her and help when she is crying.
  • Titus Talks NON STOP! we can almost carry on a normal conversation. He answers questions and is so funny.
  • Aside from tripping over his own feet most of the day Titus is pretty coordinated. He has a good throwing arm, can dribble a Basketball, & can kick a soccer ball.
  • Titus doesn't really like to draw but he really likes to play with play-dough. that is how we have been teaching him colors. We also teach him by using Powerade.

Getting Organized {2013} This is how {I} do it

I'm just going to get this out there.. I need to have a written schedule to get things done. I have been making WAY to many excuses on why things aren't getting done and one of them is that i don't have a written schedule.  So here it is... after i type it up i'm going to make it super cute, and then after that i'm going to clean my living room/kitchen (if Brynn lets me put her down). Another reason why i am doing this is so that Mike can see it and will hold me too it.

Yummy Healthy {Recipes}

Since Mike and I are on our way to getting healthier and in better Shape. So we have been trying new quick and easy recipes. We Tried a new Chicken recipe & a new Pork recipe.

Honey Glazed Grilled Chicken
4-5 chicken breasts, thawed
8 oz Italian dressing
1/4 cup lime juice (fresh is best)
1/2 cup honey (you could use agave, but I am a honey lover)

Mix the dressing, juice, and honey together in a bowl or Ziploc bag. Place chicken breasts in marinade and let sit in the fridge for 5-8 hours (the longer, the better!). Grill over medium high heat about 6-7 minutes on each side (or until no longer pink in the middle).

We made this for My Dad while he was in SL for a conference-thingy. We served it with Creamed corn and Minute Rice. Titus loved it and kept asking for "nore" aka More.

Smokey Honey Mustard Pork
4 4-6 oz. pork loin or sirloin chops
Kosher salt and pepper
Liquid Smoke
3 Tbsp. Dijon or whole grain mustard
1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
2 cloves minced garlic

Sprinkle pork chops with Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Give them a liberal dousing of liquid smoke (you can usually find this either near the seasonings or the BBQ sauce/condiments in the grocery store). Set aside.

Heat oven broiler to high or preheat grill. Combine honey, garlic, and mustard. Place pork chops on broiler pan/grill and cook for 4-5 minutes. Turn and cook another 4-5 minutes. You want the internal temperature to be at least 165 (that's a little pink inside), but you also don't want to overcook them because they'll become tough. So you may need to adjust your cooking times a little, bearing in mind that they have two minutes to cook after the initial 8-10 minutes.

Baste with honey mustard mixture and cook an additional minute. Turn and baste other side; cook for one additional minute. Remove from heat and allow to stand a few minutes to seal in the juices.

Titus really liked this one too. If we can get Ty to eat it and ask for "nore" we are good. He liked it more then the rice and he LOVES rice. I guess eating healthy is the way to go when it comes to meal time with our toddler. Enjoy and let me know what you served them with.
